The Branson Brothers Show has announced some new and exciting additions to their cast for the 2007 season. The phenomenal Doug Gabriel has joined the show, and two longtime Branson comedians will keep the audience in tears this year.
The Branson Brothers said Gabriel, a 7 time male vocalist of the year winner, brings to the stage his awesome voice and energetic showmanship. Dog Gabriel has had the number one morning show in Branson for years. He will continue to perform the morning show at the Jim Stafford Theatre with his talented family.
Gabriel joins returning veteran performer Jimmy Ponder, founder and original member of the group; Dee Allen, son of Duane Allen of the Oak Ridge Boys; and Andre Shepherd, who was nominated for vocalist of the year in 2006.
Branson’s 2006 Comedian of the Year Terry Sanders returns as “Homer Lee.” Sanders is a veteran Branson Comedian and will be joined by another longtime comedian, Perry Edenburn.
Edenburn, from The Presley’s, The Delene Show and Down Home Country Show will be adding his brand of hilarious comedy to the lineup for the 2007 season. Perry’s character “Harley Worthit” will be joining Homer Lee for some of the funniest antics anywhere. When Homer and Harley hit the stage it will be non-stop laughter.
Also returning are the beautiful and talented ladies of the show, Diana Ponder and Natalie Nicole.
The Branson Brothers second season is currently being performed at the Bart Rockett Theatre.
