417 Magazine, a magazine centered on covering the arts, events, dining, entertainment, home and anything related to quality of life in Springfield and Branson, Missouri, recently announced it’s “Best of 417.” The “Best of 417” awards the top restaurants, shops, shows and more and are voted on by those who call 417-land home.
Kirby VanBurch won the Best Branson Show honor. His show features Kirbam the white tiger and other exotic animals such as a lion. The two runners-up were the Dixie Stampede Dinner Show and the Baldknobbers Jamboree Show. Dixie’s show also features animals such as ostriches, buffalos and horses, while the Baldknobbers focus on a combination of music and comedy that part of their family tradition.
Both Yakov Smirnoff and Jim Stafford were included as Best Comedy Show honorees. Yakov Smirnoff applies his interesting perspective to life in these United States and delivers hilarious laughs throughout his show. Jim Stafford is a tried and true comedian who can sing, crack jokes and mesmerize his audiences with laughter. He’s originally famous for his songs “Spiders and Snakes” & “Cow Patti.”
A little bit south of the Branson one finds Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This charming Victorian town was named the Best Place to Get Married and rightfully so. Visitors flock to this quaint town for weddings because of the romantic settings and beautiful scenery. It’s also a great place to honeymoon!
