Branson Jubilee, the family-friendly television series which is bringing variety back to television, will begin airing on KOZK Saturday, August 19th at 6 PM. It will also premier on KOZJ in Joplin, Missouri at the same time. It has been running on Northern Missouri’s KMOS station since July 8th. The series airs on PBS Nationally and is currently carried by over 100 stations from Alaska to Florida.
Debra Lowther, Executive Producer, said, “We are extremely enthused by the reception that Branson Jubilee is getting. Many stations are repeating it several times a week, and we are adding new stations every week. The first 11 episodes have been completed and 11 more are scheduled for production this fall.”
Hosted by Jimmy Osmond, each episode of Branson Jubilee features Les Brown, Jr. and his Band of Renown and a star-studded cast of nationally known stars ranging from Crystal Gayle, Lesley Gore, and Lee Greenwood to Glen Campbell, Tony Orlando and Pat & Debby Boone.
Branson Jubilee is bringing true-family entertainment back to television. Covering the most popular genres from the 1960s, '70s, '80s and today’s contemporary artists, such as “Star Search” winner Jake Simpson, “Nashville Star” winner Brad Cotter, The Warren Brothers, and Chely Wright, the non-stop entertainment features musical segments, as well as up-close-and-personal moments with some of America’s greatest stars, including Branson favorites Ray Stevens, Jim Stafford, Mickey Gilley, The Duttons, and The Presley’s.
